Creating fun, fresh and frugal spaces.

Amy Tsao Designs

My Philosophy

Sustainable and BeautifulAt the heart of Amy Tsao Designs is a simple belief: beautiful spaces should not come at the expense of the planet. My aim is to create thoughtful, timeless, and environmentally responsible spaces that nurture both the people who inhabit them and the world around them.Every design decision is guided by a commitment to reduce environmental impact through conscious and selective sourcing, creative re-use, and the selection of materials that are renewable, reclaimed, low-impact, and built to last.Through mindful and immaginative design, sustainability and sophistication are not opposing forces, but natural partners.Let's design spaces not just for today, but for tomorrow!

About Me

I believe in working closely with you to create personal spaces that can evolve over time.Across residential and commercial projects, my speciality is balancing modern aesthetics with well-loved antiques and vintage features.

  • Sustainable Design: Re-imagine and re-purpose where possible. Use eco-friendly interventions.

  • Concept-Led: Hone in on your style to achieve a lasting result.

  • Responsible Sourcing: Focus on long-lasting vintage, antiques, and collectibles.

My Process

Complimentary ChatGive me a call for a free, no-obligation chat about what you’re looking to achieve and how I may be able to help.Initial Site Visit + Design Debrief - £250I start by visiting your space in person to understand how you live, what’s working, and what’s not. We’ll talk through your goals, style, budget, and timeline, while I take a few measurements, photos, and notes to reference later during the design phase.By the end of the site visit, both of us will have a clear understanding of the project direction, priorities, and next steps.Click here to learn more

My Services

Some clients find the initial visit and debrief are all they need to move forward, while others continue with more detailed support. Every project is approached individually, and is tailored to you.

  • Hourly Design Consultancy: For those who need support on a specific interior design challenge. This could be 3D visuals, moodboards, or supplier suggestions. Priced at an hourly rate.

  • One-Room Refresh Plan: If you have a room that needs updating, I create a refresh plan including key furniture ideas, colour scheme, and details to achieve the look you’re after. Priced on a fixed fee basis.

  • Extension Support: For homeowners who are extending an existing house, I’m happy to provide support when the builders’ plans need some tweaking (more storage, better flow, etc.). Priced on a fixed fee basis.

  • Turnkey Design Service: From concept, to space planning, to sourcing and implementation, I manage your interior design project from start to finish. Priced as a mix of design fees and hourly rates.
